The Marathon County Historical Society is located in
two historic buildings in Wausau.

 The Yawkey House Museum

Tuesday - Thursday
9:00 am - 4:30 pm
Saturday - Sunday
1:00 pm - 4:30 pm
Guided tours begin on the hour with the first tour starting at 9:00 a.m. and the last tour starting at 3:00 p.m.

 Woodson History Center
410 McIndoe Street, Wausau, WI 54403
The A.P. and Leigh Yawkey Woodson house, built in 1914 contains our administrative offices, research library, exhibits and gift shop.

Limited Parking is available in the back of the A.P. Woodson House. However, you may wish to park on one of the lovely streets in our historic neighborhood. We have Walking Tour brochures available for those who wish to learn more about the many historic homes and buildings in our neighborhood. |
