Voices of the Past: Living History Cemetery Tour

  • Pine Grove Cemetery 1501 Grand Avenue Wausau, WI, 54403 United States (map)

Join us at Pine Grove Cemetery (1501 Grand Avenue in Wausau), for our annual cemetery tours! The first tour leaves at 11 a.m., and the last tour begins at 2 p.m.

This year Marathon County is celebrating it's 175th anniversary, and as part of the celebration we will be highlighting notable figures from this period of history during our annual cemetery tours! These are some of the people who laid the foundation for Marathon County's future, and they date all the way back to its founding in 1850.

Costumed reenactors will tell their stories as groups of visitors walk a guided route through Pine Grove Cemetery. We hope you can join us to celebrate these historical figures and their contributions that helped establish Marathon County as the thriving community it is today.

Suggested donation is $5 per person. Online ticketing is available here. Tickets will also be available at the event.

For questions, please contact the Marathon County Historical Society at (715) 842-5750 or info@marathoncountyhistory.org.
