Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteers play a critical part in the success of the Marathon County Historical Society. We have many volunteer opportunities requiring people with a wide variety of talents and interests. Whether you are looking for a weekly commitment or an occasional assignment, we would like to hear from you. If you are interested in learning more, please fill out our Volunteer Application below.
Clerical
Projects may include photocopying, distributing promotional materials and newsletters, assisting with large mailings, ordering supplies, and filing, etc.
Library
Our library includes a large collection of photographs, research files, archives, and books. We are currently seeking assistance with automating our complete library and archives. Projects may include photograph scanning, indexing, data entry, filing, etc.
Events
We have many opportunities for those who are interested in volunteering occasionally. We host many special events through the year and depend on volunteers to help in a variety of ways.

Projects may range from identifying artifacts, indexing collections, and data entry, etc.
