Raise a glass to Wausau’s rich history on the Old-Fashioned Downtown Tour, a two-hour guided walking tour through the heart of downtown. Hosted by the Marathon County Historical Society, this engaging experience blends local lore, historic architecture, and Wisconsin’s favorite cocktail.
Guests will explore iconic buildings and hidden stories from Wausau’s past, all while enjoy stops at three bars/lounges to sample a classic Old-Fashioned, or even one with a special twist (spirit-free alternatives are available).
This tour is rain or shine, so dress appropriately and wear comfortable walking shoes. The tour begins and ends at the Marathon County Historical Society, and includes rest stops and guidance throughout.
Tickets are $35 and must be purchased in advance. Space is limited. Must be 21 or older to participate.
