The Marathon County Historical Society presents “Voices from the Past: A Historical Walk Through Pine Grove Cemetery” on Sunday, September 20, 2026 at Pine Grove Cemetery 1501 Grand Avenue in Wausau. The first tour will leave at 11AM and the last tour will begin at 2PM, rain or shine.

Costumed re-enactors will tell stories from Marathon County’s past as groups of visitors walk a guided route through Pine Grove Cemetery. We’ll highlight historical figures buried at Pine Grove that made Wausau the strong community that it was then and has become.
