The Yawkey House Museum garden is breathtaking in its splendor and is perfect for a May through October wedding ceremony or outdoor event.  The gorgeous flowing sunken garden with its dramatic fountain focal point framed by a vine covered pergola is the perfect backdrop to celebrate any milestone in your life. The newly restored carriage house provides the perfect indoor space to stage a catered buffet for your guests.  The quaint building is a memorable setting to any occasion. Rental is for three hours and includes the vibrant garden area as well as the charming and functional carriage house.  The alluring space is the perfect gathering spot. 

Amenities include:

  • Services of an on-site MCHS representative.

  • Three hour site rental for ceremony or reception.

  • Set up and take down of up to 25 beige folding chairs.

  • Lovely backdrops for your wedding photos (photographer's permit is included).

  • Electricity is available for soft music. No amplified music is allowed.

  • Use of the Carriage House for Bridesmaids and Bride to walk into the garden.

Meeting and Reception Room Rentals

 The Woodson History Center offers a unique opportunity to hold your event or special meeting in the historic home of A.P. and Leigh Yawkey Woodson.  The first floor of the home has been restored revealing once again the true beauty of this elegant home.
 
Rent the historic dining room for special meetings or small gatherings of up to 18 people.  The historic living room can seat 40 people banquet-style and up to 65 people theater style.  Both rooms can be rented together for a small reception or gathering of up to 100 people.

The lower level conference room can seat up to 100 people. It is perfect for large dinners, speakers or presentations, receptions, and more.
