Background:

The site of Denny is unclear. It appears to be in the same location as Wuertsburg which had a post office in the same location as Denny at about the same time period, 1887-1894. The 1996 plat book of Johnson Twp. shows a church cemetary and several buildings in the NW corner of Section 36.
