The 1882 plat map shows no roads into Sec. 30. The Kelly brothers are shown as owners of much of the land in Sec. 30 in 1882. The area was not developed

About The Post Office:

P.O., located in Sec. 30 of Easton Twp., closed for a brief time in 1881 and reopened on January 22, 1882 with Charles Allen as PM.  P.O. was discontinued for good on February 16, 1887. The Wilcox Mill is shown one section west in Sec. 25 of Wausau Twp. This may have been a logging camp.
